Uzbek envoy holds talks with Secretary General of UNICA

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 25 June 2019, the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Belgium Dilyor Khakimov received the Secretary General of the Network of Universities from the Capitals of Europe (UNICA) Kris Dejonckheere.

The sides discussed the implementation progress of the UZDOC 2.0 project aimed at improving the quality of doctoral education in higher education institutions of Uzbekistan and funded by the European Union’s Erasmus + program, the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.

The parties agreed on a number of visits for the upcoming period, including a delegation of representatives from a number of leading Europe’s universities led by UNICA Secretary General will visit Uzbekistan on 1-5 July.

The delegation will hold talks with the leadership of the Ministry of Innovative Development, visit Namangan region and meet with the rector and faculty of Namangan State University.
