Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Navruz is a symbol of reawakening and renewal, beauty and tenderness, kindness and charity. It is the most favorite, the most ancient, national holiday of the people of some countries of Middle East, Caucasus and all Central Asia. This holiday represents these people’s immortal spirit and purity. Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Kazakhstan Farruh Tursunov has announced it at an official reception of the Uzbek Embassy in honor of Navruz; Kazinform reports.

“If in ancient times all wars and conflicts ceased at Navruz, in our day people wish to forget mutual offences and reproaches, atmosphere of peace and friendship, harmony and charity strengthens in families and society”, the Uzbek diplomat noted. According to him, such humane features like nobility, mutual respect, wish to live in concord strengthens in people’s sense.

On the behalf of the Uzbek people, Tursunov congratulated Kazakhstanis on this holiday and wished all peace and welfare.

The Kazakh MFAТs representative in Almaty Aiymdos Bozzhigitov delivered a speech. He thanked the Uzbek Embassy for invitation and congratulated the people of countries celebrating Navruz on the day of spring and renewal, wished happiness, health, success, well-being and new ambitions.
