Uzbek delegation participates in the Education World Forum in London

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation of Uzbekistan led by Minister of Public Education Sherzod Shermatov under the instruction of President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev takes part in the World Education Forum Education World Forum m in London (United Kingdom), the press service of the Ministry of Public Education.

The Education World Forum, which began its work on 21 January 2019, is attended by ministers of education and officials from 95 countries. Within three days, delegates will discuss the problems and issues of the development of the education sector in the world.

During the visit to the UK, the delegation of Uzbekistan plans to hold a number of bilateral meetings with representatives of state bodies and companies in the field of education.

In particular, negotiations will be held with representatives of M&C Saatchi, the British Council, Cambridge Assessment International Education, State Minister for School Standards of the Department of Education, a member of the UK Parliament Nick Gibb and other organizations.

It is planned to visit educational institutions in the UK and participate in the program of the British Council “Dialogue on education policy: how young people are preparing for the future that we are trying to predict.”
