The press service of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of Uzbekistan said that Advisor of Ambassador on cultural affairs Nuguen Then and head of department on development of international relations Anvar Mahsudov participated at the event.

Ambassador Le Mang Luan congratulated Tursunali Kuziev for appointed to new post and expressed gratitude for the meeting.

During the meeting, Tursunali Kuziev said he follows development of Vietnam and believes that the country will achieve new economic and cultural progress. Minister underlined that he will do his best for developing cultural, art and sport relations between two states.

Ambassador Le Mang Luan welcomed this proposal and said there is huge opportunity for boosting cultural exchange and establishing ties in sports between Uzbekistan and Vietnam.

In this connection, Ambassador Le Mang Luan offered to hold Days of Culture of Uzbekistan in Vietnam dedicated to the 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations between two states. He invited Uzbek football players to hold joint training with Vietnamese counterparts.

Uzbek Minister fully supported these initiatives. Vietnamese envoy expressed gratitude for the assistance.
