The hosts were drawn in Group A with Central Asian neighbours Tajikistan, Jordan and Indonesia.

“I am happy with the draw but I think there are no weak teams in this group and we will have to prepare very hard," said Evstafeev, who led the team to the finals without losing a single match in the qualification campaign.

“There are no favourites in this age group competition and the teams will have to play every game at their best level,” he said.

The 42-year-old also said that crowd support would be an advantage for his side.

“That is the advantage of hosting the competition. I hope that people will turn up in large numbers to support our team.”

Uzbekistan are hosting the teen showcase for the second consecutive time after 2008. The hosts lost to Korea Republic in the quarter-finals in the last version.

“We have chalked out a plan to prepare for this tournament. We will play friendlies with stronger opponents in the lead-up to the competition, apart from having a training camp.”
