Uzbek citizens to rest three-days
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Citizens of Uzbekistan will receive three-day rest in connection with the International Women’s Day, which is marked on 8 March.
President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov signed a resolution on day-off from Saturday, 5 March 2011, to Monday, 7 March 2011.
The document said the move was adopted in connection with International Women’s Day and in order to create favourable conditions for rest of population and rational use of working time.
In line with the resolution, Monday, 7 March, will be day-off in Uzbekistan, while Saturday, 5 March, will be day-off.
