Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Citizens of Uzbekistan will soon be able to apply for electronic visas for travel to Thailand, Dunyo news agency. reported

Thailand has introduced a new system allowing citizens from all countries to apply for e-visas. This system will be available at 94 Thai diplomatic missions, and visas can be obtained online through the platform thaievisa.go.th.

No need to submit the original passport or other documents to consular offices when applying. After approval, travelers only need to print the visa and present it when boarding the plane and passing through border control upon arrival in Thailand.

It is worth noting that since 15 July 2024, a visa-free regime between Uzbekistan and Thailand allows Uzbek citizens to stay in Thailand for up to 60 days.
