The fund noted that children were sent to Germany at the assistance of Friedensdorf International Charity Foundation (Germany).
The fund added that children from Uzbekistan have been treated in European clinics since 2002 in line with three side agreement among Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan, Sog’lom Avlod Uchun and Friedensdorf International.
Friedensdorf International has been founded in 1967 and operates in over 40 countries of the world. The fund cooperates with many European clinics to help children.
Sog’lom Avlod Uchun and Ministry of Healthcare carry out examination of children from low income families, who need treatment abroad.
Overall, some 200 children have been treated and rehabilitated in Germany from 2002 to 2011.
It is worth to mention that Sog’lom Avlod Uchun and Friedensdorf International are planning to expand cooperation and organize children treatment in Uzbekistan.
