Representatives of British Foreign Office and parliament, several international charity organizations, business, expert and artistic circles, as well as diplomatic corps participated at the event, Jahon news agency reported.

The main task of the forum was to assist to development of existing and establishing new contacts among target groups, engaged in charity and support vulnerable lawyers of population. The participants noted satisfaction with partnership and expressed wish to organize the forum on regular bases.

President of the British-Uzbek Society Lord Frederick Ponsonby underlined the importance of the forum in development of cooperation among charity organizations of two states and strengthening bilateral relations.

Uzbekistan Ambassador to the UK Otabek Akbarov said respect and care about women is one of the pillars of the Uzbek society. He said the Uzbek women played important role in life of the country.
