Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 10 September 2019, in the Malaysian fashion house “Frankitas”, specializing in the manufacture of bags and accessories, the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Kuala Lumpur organized a presentation of products of Uzbek manufacturers of textile and perfumery.

The guests were presented the products of Shoxida Fashion House LLC and the domestic perfume brand Begim, as well as special videos about the tourism potential of Uzbekistan. The group of the State Academic Bolshoi Theater of Uzbekistan named after Alisher Navoi “Tumor” and the winner of the XI international music festival “Shartarononali” Mohichehra Shodumarova demonstrated various areas of national musical art.

As a result of the event, its participants from the Malaysian side expressed interest in establishing imports of Uzbek products to Malaysia and the following agreements were reached:

- between Shoxida Fashion House LLC and Frankitas to further develop cooperation in the joint development of a new design of dresses made from Uzbek ikat for sale on the Malaysian market;

- with a number of Malaysian companies on considering the possibility of establishing cooperation with the Begim brand in order to distribute perfumes in Southeast Asia.
