Uzbek boy wins first place at the Olympiad in mental arithmetic

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Moscow is hosting IV All-Russian Mental Arithmetic Tournament, organized by the UCMAS Children’s Center for Mental Arithmetic.

The tournament is attended by children at the age between 5 and 13. The participants should solve over 200 arithmetic tasks of varying degrees of complexity.

Five-year old Muhammadyusuf Anvarov from Uzbekistan won the first place of tournament in the category Beginner (junior category). He received a gold medal and a cup.

According to the jury, not every adult will master the tasks that Muhammadyusuf Anvarov solved. Mental arithmetic simultaneously develops both hemispheres of the brain. This means that a future genius is growing in the country.

It should be noted that this is not the first victory of the young genius. Muhammadyusuf took part in the championship on mental arithmetic, which was organized in May 2018 in Moscow. Then our compatriot was also won a gold medal.
