Uzbek banks to continue support of businesses
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan pays great attention to financial support of business entities, first of all creation conditions for soft crediting of their business plans, the Central Bank of Uzbekistan said.

The Central Bank said that about 6 trillion soums of loans will be issued to the sector due to all sources of financing in 2013.s

The volume of microloans will make up 1.2 trillion soums. At the same time, the volume of soft loans, issued to financing of business-plans of graduates of colleges, will reach 53.5 billion soums. The small and private businesses, as well as craftsmen, will receive loans for 110.1 billion soums.

Commercial banks will issue 106 billion soums to private individual farms and dehkan farms to purchase of production of agriculture and purchase of cattle. Businesswomen will receive 540 billion soums to develop their businesses.

It is also planned to allocate 155.3 billion soums to launch textile complexes on full circle of production in eight districts and enterprises on production of ready garments in 45 districts.

The banks will allocate 47 billion soums of loans to implement 288 projects on modernization and reconstruction of existing properties, creation of new capacities on processing of agriculture and consumer goods

Commercial banks will also issue 47.6 billion soums to support agriculture complex, including rehabilitation of existing gardens and vineyards and creation of new ones.

Besides, it is planned to create at least 10 poultry farms, 500 bee families and 30-49 fish farms in each regions. The banks will direct 145.9 billion soums to these projects, which will create 10,000 new jobs.

In 2013, it is planned to construct 105 tenement houses and the banks will issue loans for 262.3 billion soums. Qishloq Qurilish Bank will invest into construction of 10,000 individual houses on standard projects in rural areas.

Some 16 billion soums will be issued to creation of trade-service complexes in rural areas of Uzbekistan, the Central Bank of Uzbekistan said. The banks will increase the volume of consumer loans by 1.3 times to purchase of locally produced goods.
