Uzbek auditors teach foreign specialists
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbek specialists for the third time held the training course “Auditor / Lead Auditor of Quality Management System ISO 9001” in Turin (Italy), UzA reported.

The course will help the Italian specialists to register as auditors in the International Registry of Certified Auditors (IRCA, London) and at any internationally recognized certification body, like, for example, TUV International Certification.

According to director of the Uzbek-German-Russian joint venture “Sert Management” Riad Ibragimov, the training of professionals in Europe by specialists from Uzbekistan confirms the acknowledgement of their expertise abroad.

Besides Italy, trainers from Uzbekistan also taught international standards of quality management in Malaysia, Singapore and Russia.

The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) now has more than 150 member states around the world. Uzbekistan became the member of ISO with the right to vote in 2000.

In Uzbekistan, the international quality standards have been introduced by the company at large oil and gas enterprises, such as Fergana Refinery, Bukhara Refinery, Shurtan Gas and Chemical Complex, Almalyk Mining Combine, Uzmetkombinat and other industrial companies.

Today, the state registry of certified quality management systems contains more than 200 domestic enterprises, more than 40% of which were certified by Sert Management together with German certification body TUV International Certification.

In Juny, the Cabinet of Ministers issued a resolution on increasing the number of enterprises having the international quality management systems.

This should help local producers to meet the criteria of international trade, expand their markets and create conditions for attracting investment.
