Representatives of state and societal organisations, general public, athletes and coaches, as well as others participated at the ceremony.

As earlier reported, 53 athletes, having successfully completed difficult qualification stages, earned the right to participate in 15 sports at the largest sporting event of the year.

Freestyle wrestler Artur Taymazov won his third Olympic gold medal at London Games. Judoka Rishod Sobirov, boxer Abbos Atoev and freestyle wrestler Soslan Tigiev claimed bronze medals.

At the ceremony, Artur Taymazov received certificate for US$150,000 and Chevrolet Malibu, while other three medalists got certificate for US$50,000 and Chevrolet Lacetti.
