The event is organized by Fund Forum and Uzbekistan National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan at the support of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in the United Kingdom. Fund Forum organized the similar event at Beijing Games in 2008.

It is expected that the event will attract all members of Uzbekistan national team, representatives of Olympic Committees of other states, as well as representatives of Great Britain.

The event includes musical programme with participation of popular Uzbek singers. Within the event, the photo book “Fund Forum presents Uzbekistan”. The book presents original photos about Uzbekistan.

Uzbekistan is represented by 54 athletes in 17 sports, including boxing, judo, gymnastics, tennis, wrestling, cycling, etc.

Some 58 athletes from Uzbekistan participated at the Beijing Games in 2008. Uzbekistan won one gold, two silver and three bronze medals in 2008.
