Uzbek and Tajik Foreign Ministers Discuss Strengthening Strategic Partnership
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov held talks with his Tajik counterpart Sirojiddin Muhriddin.
According to Uzbekistan’s Foreign Ministry, the discussions focused on strengthening the strategic partnership and allied relations between the two countries. The ministers reviewed prospects for expanding regional cooperation, boosting trade, economic, and cultural ties, as well as joint efforts to address pressing issues.
Special attention was given to ensuring stability and good-neighborly relations in Central Asia. Both sides reaffirmed their shared commitment to promoting peace and sustainable development in the region, stressing that these are essential for the prosperity and security of all peoples.
