Uzavtosanoat denies false claims about refusing vehicle sales to teachers on preferential terms

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The information claiming that Uzavtosanoat rejected the Cabinet of Ministers’ directive to sell vehicles to teachers under preferential terms through commercial banks has been denied by the company.

A segment of a letter circulated on social media suggested that UzAuto had declined to sell cars to teachers with a preferential car loan plan offering a 60-month term and a 30% down payment.

However, Uzavtosanoat has refuted these claims, stating that the information is false. The company emphasized that it is ready to implement vehicle sales under preferential loan terms through commercial banks, as directed by the Cabinet of Ministers.

The statement also clarified that commercial banks only have the option of loans to finance individual vehicle purchases.

Furthermore, the original letter mentioned that various mechanisms for purchasing vehicles, including under preferential conditions, have been implemented through Asakabank, Aloqa Bank, Ipak Yo’li Bank, InfinBANK, Biznesni Rivojlantirish Banki, Asia Alliance Bank, and Tenge Bank.

Uzavtosanoat urged the public to refrain from spreading false information.
