Tender was announced on six lots – automated information-library system (lot 1), information-technological infrastructure (lot 2), systems of reflecting and special equipment (lot 3), integration of management systems (lot 4), systems (engineer) of security and life support (lot 5) and acoustic and discussion systems and video surveillance (lot 6).

The maximum calculated cost of lot 1 for development and introduction of system is 533 million soums, lot 2 – US$5,159 million – supply and assembly and 2.974 billion soums for execution of works on assembling and commissioning works.

The highest cost on lot 3 is US$5.747 million for supply and assembly and 853 million soums for execution of works on assembling and commissioning works, lot 4 – US$1.175 million for supply and assembly and 584 million soums for execution of works on assembling and commissioning works, lot 5 - US$6 million for supply and assembly and 3 billion soums for execution of works on assembling and commissioning works and lot 6 - US$2.07 million for supply and assembly and 953 million soums for execution of works on assembling and commissioning works.

In line with tender terms, the tender proposals are accepted till 20 March 2011. Only Uzbek companies, working on development of software for information-library system, can participate in lot 1.

As earlier reported, Uzbekistan plans to create single digital library network with the cost of US$55 million in 2011-2015.
