Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — New Deputy Director of the Social Protection Agency under the President of Uzbekistan has been appointed..

According to the Presidential decree, Usmon Sharifkhodjaev has taken over the position of Deputy Director of the Social Protection Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

In his role, he will organize systematic work based on the "From Poverty to Well-Being" program, focusing on assessing and implementing measures to reduce poverty levels, maintaining a registry of impoverished families, and studying their social status and the reasons for their poverty.

Additionally, he will coordinate the activities of specialized educational institutions for children with special educational needs under the Agency and will provide methodological guidance for scientific activities in the field of social protection.

Previously, Usmon Sharifkhodjaev served as the First Deputy Minister of Preschool and School Education of Uzbekistan.
