Newly appointed US Ambassador to Uzbekistan Richard Norland met the Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan and the Director-General of the Uzbek Agency for Communication and Information Abdulla Aripov on 14 November.

The US envoy made a courtesy visit on the occasion of the start of his mission in Uzbekistan, the website of the UzACI said.

During the meeting, Richard Norland got acquainted with work, carried out in introduction and development of information-communication technologies and telecommunication. The sides also exchanged opinion on perspectives of development of cooperation in the ICT sphere.
