The parties discussed the practical issues relating to the forthcoming third round of Uzbek-American political consultations in Tashkent, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

As reported earlier, a US delegation, led by the Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs Robert Blake, will arrive in Tashkent on 15 August 2012 for the third round of political consultations.

The program of the consultations includes joint meetings of the subgroups, a business-forum with a wide representation of business circles of the two countries.
