Unknown man in Tula region killed a native of Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 30 April 2019, a number of media outlets reported on the murder of a native of Uzbekistan in the city of Uzlovaya of Tula region (Russia).

According to preliminary information received by the Consular Section of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Moscow, the investigating authorities opened a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under Part 1 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (murder). 34-year-old man suspected of committing this crime, was detained, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.

The Consular and Legal Department expresses its condolences to the relatives and friends of the deceased and reports that this tragic incident is being monitored by the Consular Section of the Embassy, including to assist in transporting the body to Surkhandarya region.
