Universalbank launched new line of deposit products for individuals from 10 January 2011. The bank said it introduces Jasorat deposit.

New deposit has three types, which differ with its terms – 3 months, 6 months and 12 months, the bank said.

Individuals can put resources to Jasorat deposit both in cash and cashless form. Deposits are accepted till 20 February 2011.

As earlier reported, Universalbank plans to offer at least 1-2 new deposits to population in each month and based on wishes of depositors to improve terms of offered deposit products and attract funds to banking turnover.

Currently, the bank offers about 19 types of deposits to individuals both in national currency and hard currency.

Universalbank is part of the Fund of Deposits’ Guaranteeing, which guarantees 100% repayment of the deposits by the government. The bank also met requirements of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan to minimum size of charter capital.
