Partnership with this financial institute will allow to expand number of remittance points by more than 80.

Microcreditbank is one of key players in the banking sector of Uzbekistan with large branch network. It has offices in Surkhandarya and Kashkadarya, Andijan and Namangan, Samarkand and Tashkent regions. Headquarters of the bank is in Tashkent.

The system said that the remittances are conducted in the US dollars and addressless option is available.

UNISTREAM President Souren Hayriyan said that cooperation with Microcreditbank is important step in development of money transfer system in Uzbekistan.

He said that establishment of new partnership is an important event for money transfer system, taking into account position of the bank in Uzbekistan and potential of money transfer segment. He said that UNISTREAM was able significantly improve its position in Uzbekistan. Number of partners in Uzbekistan reached 13 and number of points – 1,250. Some 250 points work in Tashkent, about 70 – Samarkand, about 50 in Bukhara and Andijan each.

The system fully supports addressless remittances options in Uzbekistan. UNISTREAM has two specialized remittances centers.
