UNICEF International expert holds a seminar for employees of Center for Social and Legal Assistance to Minors

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The first training workshop was aimed at teaching psychosocial support methods for children in a difficult life situation.

The workshop was conducted by a UNICEF international expert in psychosocial support development, Mr. Matthew Taleshi, who has ten years of experience in this area.

Employees of the Center for Social and Legal Assistance to Minors of Tashkent city police were presented with methods for assessing the situation of children. The seminar provides information on approaches on conducting conversation with a child in difficult period, subjected to physical or psychological pressure from adults, which are more effective and less painful for them.

During the training, interactive methods were used. The participants simulated conversation of the center’s teachers with minors.
