These activities were organized by Fund Forum Uz, National Association of Electronic Mass Media (NAESMI), NAESMI Public Fund and "Kelajak Ovozi" Youth Initiatives Centre.

The events were conducted in the framework of "Creating Youth TV Studios" project to train the participants from all provinces of Uzbekistan, the Republic of Karakalpakstan and Tashkent City on covering youth-related issues through TV programmes on local television stations.

"We supported these events in order to ensure continued interest of young journalists in covering such issues as reproductive health, healthy lifestyle, gender equality, HIV/AIDS prevention and Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) through interactive TV programmes and other information products nation-wide," commented Feruza Fazilova, UNFPA National Officer on Reproductive Health.
