Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- First Vice President of Uzbekistan Football Association Umid Akhmatdjanov said Uzbekistan should pay great attention to  young players in upcoming tournaments, commenting performance of Uzbekistan in the AFC Asian Cup.

He praised performance of the team despite noting that the main goal was to win the tournament. He added that he was impressed by the young players.

Official said that Uzbekistan netted seven goals during tournament, while six of them were scored by young players.

He said that it is time to give chance to young players. Soon, the qualification round for FIFA World Cup will start and young players will represent Uzbekistan.
