Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Supervisory Board of Kapitalbank has appointed Ulugbek Tavakkalov as Deputy Chairman of the Board, the bank’s press service reported.

Tavakkalov has over 20 years of experience in the financial sector and previously led digital transformation initiatives at major banks in Uzbekistan. In his new role, he will oversee retail banking and financial product development.

Chairman of the Supervisory Board Maksud Abdusamadov highlighted that Tavakkalov’s expertise will significantly contribute to the growth of the bank, its services, and market position. "I am confident that in this new role, he will achieve even greater success for both the bank and its clients," he stated.

The appointment will take effect upon approval by the Central Bank of Uzbekistan.
