UFF: Zair Babev has no base under his statements
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A web portal “Varzish-Sport” has published on its website an article about the press conference, where head coach of junior team Tajikistan Zair Boboev talks about the reasons for unsuccessful performance of his team at the Asian Championship, which takes place in Tashkent, the UFF press service said in a statement.

In particular, the coach allowed himself to blame Uzbekistan Football Federation in cahoots with the against his team in a match against Indonesia. Also, the coach expressed his displeasure team of referees on the match against Uzbekistan, where according to Boboev Iranian referee from scratch appointed two penalty kicks for uzbek team.

First of all, it should be noted that Z. Boboev in post-match press conference with the national team of Uzbekistan noted, that his team today lost clearly to the opponent and the reason for this defeat is a bad game of goalkeeper and defenders of his team. Same head coach said after the match against Jordan.

Regarding to collusion of UFF and referees officiated Indonesia-Tajikistan match: We declare that this statement is a serious charge toward the tournament organizer and the Football Federation of Uzbekistan requires Tajikistan Football Federation official statement on the matter. We demand to provide evidence that can confirm the accusation. We remind that the match Indonesia-Tajikistan ended with the score 4:1. After the match there had been no complaints in the AFC on the work of a referees from any one of the teams.

During the press conference head coach also blamed Uzbekistan U16 national team the, there are the players who are far away for 16 years. We respect the feelings of the coach after this defeat, but as we know, the AFC practice MRI tests in all competitions for the determination of such offenses in the team. Until now, these tests do not show positive results with respect to the Uzbekistan national team players. But the players of Tajikistan national team are one of the few in Asia that have been implicated in this process. We think that the head coach has no moral right to blindly accuse an opponent who is in a fair fight won the match with a large score 8:1.

Also, do not see the point in discussing two penalties which, according to head coach, have been appointed wrongly. The only thing that I want to say is that the first penalty has been appointed at 80thminute meeting with the score 5:1 in favor of the Uzbekistan national team. And to determine the adequacy of the head coach, it is enough to watch an episode of the rules violations in the penalty area.

Also exaggerated information that the team bus arrived late to the hotel which was the reason they had to train only 24 minutes instead of 45. First, we note that no team trains 45 minutes. Second, the team bus arrived to the stadium 10 minutes after the team bus of Uzbekistan. At the pre-match training teams came in to the pitch at the same time and together.

UFF accepts all statements of the head coach of Tajikistan U16 national team, Zoir Boboev as false information and attempting to evade responsibility of unsuccessful performance of team at the Asian Championship. UFF also requires TFF scrutinize statements Zair Boboev and publish its official attitude on the issue.
