The Asian Football Confederation introduced changes to the charter of organization at its meeting in Melbourne, Australia, on 9 January.
According to the changes, the members of the AFC decided to create the fifth zone within the organization and Central Asian Zone was created. Three members from the Central Asian Zone will be elected to the AFC Executive Committee.
Within the AFC reforms, representatives of football federations of Central Asia gathered in Kuwait and created Central Asian Football Association with residence in Tashkent, the UFF said.
