Speaking at the session of the Councils of Coaches, Mirabror Usmanov said that the federation is not interested in inviting foreign coach to the post of the head coach of Uzbekistan national team. He said that foreign specialists can work as senior coach or consultant.

He said that Uzbekistan coach Mirjalol Kasimov can introduce change to structure of coaches of national team or invite foreign consultant till the end of January 2014.

Usmanov said that he is also against naturalization of players and only players, who was born and raised in Uzbekistan, should play in national teams.

Mirabror Usmanov called Uzbekistan national team seriously prepare for UAE clash in March 2014 and the AFC Asian Cup 2015 in Australia.

UFF chief also said that Uzbekistan Olympic team should show good performance at the AFC U-22 Championship in the UAE in January 2013.

He said that Uzbekistan U-19 and Uzbekistan U-16 should reach semifinals of the continental tournaments in Myanmar and Thailand respectively and book place in the World Championships.
