UCell’s subscriber growth has been strong during 2008 with the key drivers being the roll out of new network, introduction of new tariffs and increased number of services as well as coverage.

UCell is continuing to invest heavily in extra capacity and coverage, as well as new services to gain competitive advantage in the market. The services based on GPRS/EDGE were launched on 20 August as a result of the network upgrade to provide more varieties of value-added data services, including high-speed Internet access and e-mail on the move. The number of UCell’s roaming countries is constantly growing and the number of partners in CAMEL roaming is increasing. MMS service is also in place.
UCell plans to continue enhancing its operation by adding new tariffs and services, as well as expanding the service area.
