Ucell and Qualcomm hold training for young programmers
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Mobile communication operator Ucell in cooperation with global leader on production of processors for smartphone Qualcomm (represented in the region as Central Asian Cellular Forum) held the first training for young programmers “Development of mobile apps – augmented reality”.

The main goal of the training is to teach young developers with practical skills of developing apps with use of augmented reality technologies. The event was attended by students and graduates of IT departments of universities, as well as specialists of mobile app developers. In the first half of the event, the participants developed app for Android and the second half was dedicated to multiplatform game platform Unity 3D.

Manager of additional services section of Ucell Shavkat Huseynov said that Ucell was happy to be partner of Qualcomm to organize training, which helped young developers to improve their knowledge in app development with popular technologies.

He said that people with mobile app development, programming and English knowledge were selected to the training. Some 30 developers attended the event, but the number of people, who want to participate at the event, was higher. He said that this will be serv as stimulus to hold similar events in future.

One of participant of the event Tulkin Yusupov said that he learnt to use Vuforia SDK and Unity. He said new knowledge will be useful for him to develop apps.

One of the leading specialists of Qualcomm in programming Adeel Siddiqui participated at the event. He said that education process was light and interesting and he expressed satisfaction with its results. “I am sure that knowledge received at the training will be useful in developing interesting and useful aps.

At the end of the training, the participants received certificates and gifts from the Ucell.
