Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 7 June, at about 10.10 pm in Mirzo-Ulugbek district of Tashkent, a traffic accident occurred on Tashkent ring road.
Pedestrian 22-year-old G. I. crossed the road in the wrong place, 25 meters from the pedestrian crossing. The driver of the Lacetti car, 41-year-old H. H., made a run over a pedestrian, after which he lost control and collided with a car of the brand "Cobalt" (driver 49-year-old Yu. A.). A pedestrian as a result of a collision of the Lacetti turned out to be under a “Shacman” truck, driven by 39-year-old K.D.
As a result of the accident, a pedestrian G. I. and a passenger of the “Lacetti”, a 38-year-old O. M., died on the spot.
A 23-year-old Yu. A., a passenger of the Cobalt, was hospitalized with injuries. The driver of the car "Lacetti" received medical care on an outpatient basis, after which he was discharged from the hospital.
According to preliminary data, the cause of the accident was due to the fact that the pedestrian crossed the road in the wrong place.
The degree of guilt of the driver "Lacetti" will be revealed during the investigation.
