Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Auction tenders have been completed regarding the recreation area of the state enterprise Geoburtekhnika and the sports and recreation camp Hydroenergetic in Bostanlyk district of Tashkent region, which have attractive tourism potential.

The recreation area of the state enterprise Geoburtekhnika, the starting price of which was 5.743 billion soums, was sold for 8.499 billion soums. Two bidders took part in the auction for the state asset.

The sports and recreation camp "Hydroenergy", the starting price of which was 3.574 billion soums, was sold to representatives of the private sector for 7.077 billion soums.

Now, the owners of state assets are required to build at least a 3-star hotel complex that meets international standards within 24 months.

In turn, to date, a number of similar state assets have been put up for auction in the tourism sector, including:

- Sports and recreation camp "Linguist" (land plot - 2.40 hectare);

- Facilities of the camp of the Institute of Non-Ferrous Metals (land area - 2.64 hectares);

- Camp of the former Medical Academy (land plot - 2.0 hectares);

-Unused old building (land area - 0.7 hectares).

The ongoing project will be coordinated with the Directorate of the free tourist zone "Charvak".
