Turonbank opens new branches in Tashkent city
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Open joint stock commercial Turonbank opened two new branches in Tashkent city within the initiative of its management on expanding branch network.

Branches were opened at Chilanzar district and Khamza district of Tashkent city. They started their work on 1 July 2011.

The bank said that thousand businesses and individuals can use banking services and products of Turonbank.

New branches are equipped with new equipment and latest banking technologies, which meet all security requirements. The branches will offer deposits, banking certificates, payment cards, money transfer systems, currency operations, etc.

The branches will use single service standards and flexibale tariff policy, the bank underlined.

Open joint stock commercial Turonbank, one of the first commercial banks of Uzbekistan, was created on 6 November 1990. The bank has 15 branches and 30 mini-banks, including network of cash offices in all regions of Uzbekistan.

Assets of Turonbank grew to 450.8 billion soums at the end of the second quarter of 2011 and equity capital made up 34.5 billion soums. Number of clients grew by 20.6% to 187,000 clients.
