In five months of 2013, the exchange registered 469 deals with 34.512 million shares of 71 issuers for 18.6 billion soums and 5,200 bonds of five issuers for 5.3 billion soums.
The exchange said that the secondary market accounted 58.7% of total turnover or 14 billion soums. At the same time its turnover fell by 1.3 times (17.9 billion) compared to the same period of 2012.
The exchange said that deficit of high liquid and attractive securities at the secondary market resulted in fell of turnover of the market in the first five months of 2013.
Share of IPO market at UZSE turnover in January-May 2013 made up 41.3% or 9.9 billion soums, which fell 4.4 times compared to the same period of 2012 (43.7 billion soums).
The analyses of the deals showed that 78.1% of deals or 18.7 billion soums fell to share of enterprises of financial sector, 60.5% of turnover or 14.5 billion soums – share of banks, 3.9% or 0.9 billion soums – insurance companies and 13.7% or 3.3 billion soums - leasing companies.
Share of industrial sector made up 0.7% of total turnover or 0.2 billion soums, agro-industrial complex – 9.8% or 2.3 billion soums and construction industry enterprises – 2.1% or 0.5 billion soums.
