Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Turkish company Pala Golden will participate in organizing a jewelry center in Bukhara.
The creation of the center was discussed during a meeting between Bukhara Region Governor Botir Zaripov, Pala Golden CEO Ufuk Pala, and Chairman of the Jewelry Industry Association of Uzbekistan Shohrukh Toichiboev.
Ufuk Pala presented the project he plans to implement in Bukhara, noting that the building designated for the jewelry center is located in a high-density area with a significant flow of tourists. He proposed accelerating the development of the center.
The regional leader thanked Ufuk Pala for the initiative and expressed readiness to support the project.
It is worth noting that in July 2024, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree “On Measures for Further Development of Jewelry Production and Ensuring Its Competitiveness.”
Under this decree, from 2024 to 2026, the creation of jewelry centers is planned in Bukhara and Namangan regions, as well as two centers in Tashkent, with the participation of the National Bank of Uzbekistan. These centers are expected to attract tourists and contribute to the development of the jewelry industry.
