Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The possibility of constructing a large business center on the site of the "Beshyogoch" market in Tashkent is being considered.

The project was discussed during online negotiations between representatives of the Turkish company Albayrak Holding and the Deputy Khokim (Mayor) of the Chilanzar district of Tashkent, Abduhamid Abdukodirov.

Representatives from the Ministry of Investments, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan also participated in the negotiations.

The district khokimiyat (district administration) reported that the negotiations will continue.

Later, the Khokimiyat clarified that the project is currently at the discussion stage.

"During the meeting, the initiative from the Turkish company was presented. At this moment, there are no specific plans regarding the implementation, timelines, or cost of the project. If similar proposals are received, the district administration is ready to hold meetings with potential investors to attract investment," the statement said.
