TShTT introduces new prices for telecommunication services
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Tashkent Shahar Telefon Tarmog’i (Tashkent City Telephone Network, TShTT) of Uzbektelecom JSC introduces new prices for universal telecommunication services from 1 June 2011.

The Uzbek Agency for Communication and Information introduced new prices for universal telecommunication services.

Monthly subscription fee for use of home telephone in the city at minute payment system grew from 1,300 soums to 1,400 soums and at rural areas from 550 to 600 soums.

Subscribers will pay 1,850 soums at subscription payment system in cities and 875 soums in rural areas.

Prices for organizations, financed by budget, and commercial organizations, were not changed.

At the same time, the cost of communication over limit (180 minutes) for all categories of users increased from 4 to 5.2 soums.

Tariffs for international and long-term calls remained unchanged.

TShTT said that it also increase prices for sending telegrams within the country. The cost of one word at sending ordinary telegram increased from 18 soums to 22 soums for population and 42 soums to 52 soums for enterprises. The cost of one work for urgent telegram increased from 86 soums to 108 soums. Telegraph fee for all types and categories of telegram rose from 86 soums to 108 soums.
