Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Trustbank JSCB increased its net profit for the first quarter of 2024 to 194.2 billion soums, which is 16.1% higher than the same period of last year.

According to the quarterly report, the bank increased interest income to 435.5 billion soums (an increase of 31.7%) and non-interest income to 213.5 billion soums (an increase of 47%).

Operating expenses in the reporting period increased by 12.8% and amounted to 3.3 billion soums.

According to the Central Bank, the bank’s loan portfolio as of March 1 of this year amounted to 5.3 trillion soums, which increased by 48.8% compared to the same period of last year. The share of non-performing loans (NPL) decreased from 5.9% to 2.0%.
