Participants studied in detail the methodology and technique in three disciplines, typical errors and ways to correct them. A separate day was devoted to the topic of the means and methods of medical control of athletes.
25 trainers of sports schools and fitness clubs completed an intensive course for 6 days. Participants noted the importance of such training programs:
- The course from leading experts from Russia was very interesting. From my point of view, it is very important to conduct such educational seminars in order to exchange opinions and experience in conducting training sessions in triathlon. Very important topics were discussed on the methodology and the ability of structured construction with all the ensuing periodizations. I emphasized a lot for myself and revised my pedagogical approaches. I hope that we will not stop there and will meet with such specialists more often, exchange opinions, because there is no limit to perfection. Many thanks to the Triathlon Federation and to everyone who participated in the training course,” Dmitry Lozovoy, trainer and teacher of the Republican Youth High School of Sports shared his impressions.
According to the results of the curriculum, it is expected to open new triathlon sections for professionals and amateurs, where qualified trainers who successfully completed this course will be invited.
