Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In order to improve combat and physical training and maintain a psychological environment among military personnel, on 21 August, the command of the National Guard, together with the Uzbekistan Triathlon Federation (UTF), organized a triathlon competition in the city of Navoi.
A distinctive feature of this event is the choice of triathlon among military personnel as a sport to test their own strength and endurance.
The participants, in turn, shared their impressions of the competition, which became truly significant and left only positive emotions: “Triathlon is a sport that is able to motivate not only physically, but also mentally. Every soldier, but also any citizen who wants to show himself what he is capable of, he simply has to try himself in triathlon at least once in his life. "
Twenty-five participants competed at the following distances:
Swimming (on the Eshlik lake) - 200 meters
Cycle race - 4400 meters
Running - 2200 meters
The organizers are confident that this competition will mark the beginning of the tradition of organizing joint events, since we believe that triathlon is one of the most suitable sports for the country's armed forces, which contributes to the development of endurance.
In turn, the UTF plans to actively participate in these endeavors and provide full support to the organizers.
