Tourist police starts to operate in Bukhara
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Tourist police has been launched in Bukhara region within implementation of the Safe Tourism Implementation Concept.

The Departments for Safe Tourism in Bukhara, Samarkand, Khorezm and Kashkadarya regions were launched within this concept.

Bukhara tourist police were equipped with special cars and buses. Vehicles are equipped with a video surveillance system, which allows to analyze the situation and promptly take appropriate measures to ensure the safety of tourists.

Police officers speak foreign language. They also equipped with tablets, which allow them to use electronic translators and access to electronic information systems.

The main objectives of the new departments are to ensure the safety of tourists, timely inform about possible threats, as well as protect their rights and interests.
