Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In the first half of 2025, Uzbekistan welcomed around 5.3 million foreign visitors for tourism purposes, according to the National Statistics Committee.

This represents an increase of 1.7 million people, or 48.9%, compared to the same period last year.

The largest share of visitors came to see relatives — 3,596,799 people.

A total of 783,696 foreigners traveled for leisure, 594,023 arrived on business, and 223,581 for commercial purposes.

Additionally, 48,557 foreign nationals came to Uzbekistan for medical treatment, and 9,546 for educational purposes.
