Tourism potential of Uzbekistan will be disclosed on Israeli channel CHANNEL 9
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Representatives of the Israeli channel CHANNEL 9 visited Uzbekistan to prepare materials on the tourism potential of Uzbekistan.

The visit was organized by the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Tourism Development in cooperation with the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan within the framework of implementation of the state policy for development of tourism for short and medium term.

Representatives of the channel CHANNEL 9 prepared a series of programs about the historical cities of the republic, national cuisine, music, applied art and crafts to promote the tourist product of Uzbekistan, as well as attract tourist flows from Israel, the press service of the State Committee for Tourism of the Republic of Uzbekistan said.

Within the first day of the tour, the crew prepared reports from Bukhara, which is one of the oldest cities in Central Asia and one of the centers on the Silk Road. In this city museum, which is inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List, Israeli journalists filmed a series of materials and interviews for various programs of the channel.

The guests noted with admiration that Bukhara is clearly underestimated among tourists, it is a city of poetry and fairy tales, where legends hang over zigzags of street ribbons, in the verticals of minarets, and every stone in the lace of masonry is covered with dust of eternity.

"We were surprised by the large number of hotels with an international standard of service, helpful staff, modern transport infrastructure and especially the friendly atmosphere of the country where Muslim mosques, Christian churches and ancient synagogues side by side, which is important for the Israeli tourist," the General Producer channel Evgeny Shvarts said.

The creative group of the Israeli TV channel will continue shooting in Samarkand and Tashkent.
