Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A “Road show” was organized in Kuala Lumpur on the theme “Uzbekistan: a crossroads of civilizations”.

The event was attended by the Tourism Committee, the Tourism Department of the Tashkent city khokimiat, employees of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Kuala Lumpur, Uzbekistan Airways and representatives of travel agencies operating in Malaysia and Uzbekistan.

The presentations organized as part of the Road Show provided detailed information about the large-scale measures being implemented in our country to develop modern tourism infrastructure, as well as the amenities created for travelers.

In addition, in order to increase the tourism potential of Tashkent and increase the flow of foreign tourists, a number of meetings of Uzbek businessmen with large enterprises and industry organizations in Malaysia were organized.

As a result, a number of agreements aimed at increasing the number of tourists were signed between tour operators of Uzbekistan and Malaysia.
