Nominal growth of banks’ assets in comparison with the same period of 2017 made up 93.4%.
The aggregate capital of commercial banks increased from 9.9 trillion soums as of 1 May 2017 to 23.36 trillion soums as of 1 May 2018. The growth made up 136%.
The volume of credit investments of commercial banks of Uzbekistan in the reporting period rose by 102.7% and exceeded 127.33 trillion soums.
Deposits in commercial banks of the country as of 1 May 2018 reached 61.73 trillion soums, which is 61.7% higher compared to the same period of last year.
National Bank of Uzbekistan (50.94 trillion soums), Asaka Bank (26.76 trillion soums) and Uzpromstroybank (25.27 trillion soums) were top three banks on the volume of the assets.
National Bank of Uzbekistan (5.37 trillion soums), Asaka Bank (3.13 trillion soums) and Uzpromstroybank (2.27 trillion soums) are also leaders in Uzbekistan in terms of the volume of capital.
