Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Tinkoff Business has expanded opportunities for foreign currency transfers abroad. Now legal entities can pay through Tinkoff with counterparties from Armenia and Uzbekistan in dollars and euros without limits on the amount. Also, soon Tinkoff will launch transfers in Armenian drams (AMD) to banks in Armenia and in Uzbek soums (UZS) to Uzbekistan.

In addition, Tinkoff business clients can now make currency payments to China in dollars and yuan.

“Many Russian companies are now experiencing difficulties in settlements with foreign counterparties. The usual channels for transmitting financial messages have been disrupted, some businesses that conduct monetary and economic activities are forced to look for new partners and new supply routes. We understand the difficulties that our customers face, and therefore we are looking for ways to simplify their communication with foreign suppliers. To do this, we have established correspondent relations with the banks of Armenia and Uzbekistan - now foreign exchange settlements with companies from these countries will be much faster. We see an increase in the volume of export-import operations in these areas. The total import of goods from Armenia to Russia in the first half of 2022 increased by 1.5 times compared to the same period in 2021, while exports increased by 42%. Imports to Russia from Uzbekistan increased by 45%, and exports - by 27%.
