According to the decision of the executive committee, Uzbekistan will be represented in the group stage with three teams. One more team will participate in qualification round.

Pakhtakor Tashkent will participate in the AFC Champions League group stage as champions of Uzbekistan. Locomtiv Tashkent, winner of Uzbekistan Cup, and Nasaf Karshi, winner of the third place in Uzbek football league, will also play in the group stage of the prestigious continental club league.

Bunyodkor Tashkent, which finished on the fourth place in Uzbek league, will play in qualification round of the AFC Champions League. On 17 February, Bunyodkor will face Al-Jazira of the UAE. The winner will book place in the group stage of the tournament.
